When friends come to town, one of the places we always go is Babe’s Chicken next to the Frisco Museum. It’s a little silly, but the singing waitresses, the stuffed chickens on the rafters and all the rest of the atmosphere makes the fried chicken taste that much better. My son plays football and he can eat. Lately, he skips right over the chicken and goes for the chicken fired steak. It is a huge meal and one of the few that doesn’t require seconds. Even the green salad has lots of sugar and salt in it.Definitely NOT for dieters. The only problem with Babe’s Chicken Dinner House is the old joke: Nobody goes here anymore because it’s too crowded. Worth the wait, though. I give it five stars.
