Chef in Blue

Love, Love, LOVE Chef in Blue in the Tom Thumb/Frisco Village Shopping Center at Preston, just south of Lebanon. It’s tough to find somewhere for breakfast after church, but this is the place. My husband ordered the Mexican Omelette. He couldn’t get enough of the chorizo sausage and pepper jack cheese. It was served hot with green chiles he really enjoyed.  It came with potatoes and toast that wasn’t over buttered for a change, like at a lot of other places. I couldn’t pass up on the waffle special with strawberries on top. It was like dessert for breakfast. I skipped the maple syrup for extra whipped cream, but I couldn’t pass up the bacon. My son went with the Bacon & Cheese Grilled Sandwich. As 9 year-old kid opinions go, the plate was entirely clean before my husband and I could finish our breakfasts. A successful Sunday morning and we spent just over $30, with tip. We’ll be back for sure.
