Balsamic Honey Vinaigrette

One of the most requested recipes at any restaurant is for one of the most basic items; salads. Like almost everything, the best salad dressings are housemade in the restaurants you love or at home in your kitchen. Let’s create a Balsamic-Honey Vinaigrette.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup aged balsamic vinegar;
  • 4 Tblsp clover honey;
  • 2 Tblsp wholegrain mustard;
  • 1 Shallot, diced small
  • 3 Garlic cloves, diced small
  • 4 Cups canola oil

Directions

Pour the vinegar, honey, mustard, shallot, and diced garlic into a stainless steel mixing bowl. Whisk until flavors combine.

While whisking slowly, add the canola oil in a small stream until all oil is combined with the vinegar mix. Season with salt and pepper, and refrigerate immediately.
